Elana learned the craft of grant writing in her early twenties while studying as an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis. She has built upon these skills for over twenty years. Elana works with clients in multiple capacities; writing fundraising narratives from the ground up, editing existing statements or consulting for new initiatives.
Elana consults with clients to achieve their development goals, whether that is through private foundations, government grants, managing donor relationships, or soliciting corporate sponsorships. She also keeps abreast of the constantly changing funding landscape through attending conferences and dialogs in the field.
Elana loves thinking strategically about how to raise funds for her clients’ projects and/or organizations. Her in-depth research and analysis abilities ensure that her clients find the best, most efficient paths towards success.
