Ears Open was founded by Elana Mann in 2022 after two decades in the arts and culture sector where she raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for non-profits, individuals and her own art projects. Since founding Ears Open Mann has raised over 1 million dollars for organizations and individuals.
Mann has extensive experience writing, editing, strategizing and collaborating. She has successfully secured grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Andy Warhol Visual Arts Foundation, the California Arts Council, the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, as well as the Center for Cultural Innovation among many others.
